This week we get to meet one of the original Instinct Fitness members. She was there back in the bootcamp days 3 years ago and has been with us ever since, developing into one of the top female CrossFitters in New Zealand!
She has one of the biggest engines (translation: Crazy Level of Fitness), the fastest double unders you’ll ever see and is also one of the hardest working people to ever walk into the gym. She says she doesn’t have any party tricks but we have heard she has some sweet moves on the dancefloor!

How long have you been at Instinct Fitness: 3 years now – did one of the very first instinct fitness boot camps!
What do you enjoy doing outside of CrossFit: I like to catch up with my family whenever I can and I’m a bit of a sports fanatic, I can watch pretty much any sport except maybe Golf!
What is your favourite movement in CrossFit? DUBs, Burpees and Bar Muscle Ups
What is your most hated movement in CrossFit? Thrusters
What are your biggest achievements so far? Completing all of this years open workouts Rx’d, walking 5m on my hands and getting a ring muscle up! I have also completed 3 half ironmans!
What are your future goals? It would be amazing to compete at regionals! And I would like to give coaching a go one day!
Any advice for anyone just starting their CrossFit journey? Work hard on the basics, nail proper technique and most of all have fun with it!!!
Tell us something we don’t know about you? I’m a pretty open book I don’t think there is much the members don’t know about me! But if there is anything they do want to know about me, they just have to ask!
